These cookies were made for a bridal shower.  The wedding is to take place in a rustic barn.

The cookie pops were to be placed into vases as centerpieces on the tables for the shower.

Christmas Sugar Cookies Decorated with Royal Icing

So here's what I've worked on for this Christmas!

25 gift boxes- each with 6 snowmen and 6 snowman faces.....

Rudolph love!  Big ol' hearts for noses....

More Rudolphs.  The side-view is a new cutter for me this year.  I have a love/hate relationship with this guy.  Love the look.  Hated getting the dough out of cutter.  The antlers fought me.

Christmas cupcakes....

Stockings.  I love wet-on-wet for stockings.  So fun and such pretty results.....

Christmas Trees....sprinkles, decorated, snow covered.  A lovely Christmas forest.......

Personalized Snowmen as a corporate thank you gift.....

Snowman Love!  More hearts.  The heart sprinkles are new so I had to use them!  I thought they'd be cute on snowmen......

But I got a little carried away.  Hearts as cute rosy cheeks?  Nope.....

Santa...I love that big ol' Santa.  He's a new cutter this year.....

Hedgehogs and Stockings.  No, those are not porcupines.  At least they're not supposed to be.  :)

They were to go along with a gift of The Mitten to some pre-schoolers. This photo was sent to me......

When thinking about the design for the hedgehogs, I thought that chocolate jimmies would work perfectly.  Not.  Looks like a hot mess......

Sugar cookies on a stick in the shape of lips, mustaches, fangs, and glasses.  Makes for an easy (and delicious) costume!

December 2013 Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing

There was a whole lot of cookie making throughout December!  How about a re-cap of the month?

Personalized stocking and mini holly cookies.  Mini Christmas tree cupcake toppers.  These little guys are on sticks to decorate cupcakes.

This is something I've wanted to revisit since I first started cookieing.  Do you remember those games where you had to roll the balls into the holes or through a maze?  This is it in cookie form.  Back in January of 2012, I made some "game cookies".  Yes, they're awful.  It wasn't until I recently saw this video by Montreal Confections that my biggest dilemma was solved.  I thought that I needed a container to hold in the sugar pearls.  MC piped an icing border to contain everything then put the cookies in favor bags.  Brilliant!  So here's my newest version.....

Onto traditional Christmas shapes....Candy canes, snowflakes, holly leaves, cupcakes, ornaments, light bulbs, and of course Mr and Mrs Claus.  I made a whoooooole lot of these this month!

The Mrs is a new one this year and my favorite!  I pretty much combined two different designs that I saw online....One from Sugarbelle and one from Make Me, Cake Me.  I love them both!

And onto personalized snowmen and some mini snowflakes....

Cookie Cupcake and Cake Toppers

Something new that I'm offering on my website!  These are mini cookies on sticks - Cake or Cupcake Toppers.  A super cute way to decorate homemade or store bought cupcakes.

Easter Bunny Cookie Pop Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing

Easter cookies are the cutest, right?

This year I made some bunny cookie pops.  The bunny faces are similar to last year's (and Sugarbelle's design) except that I decided to give them some shaggy fur.

On the large bunnies - the eyelashes and mouths are painted on.  (Pretty stinky job on the mouths!)

The eyes and mouths are painted on the bunnies in eggs.

Valentine Cookie Bouquets

I decided to do something a little different for Valentine's Day.  Cookie Bouquets!

Sugar cookies, decorated with royal icing, sanding sugar and nonpareils, on sticks, in cute little tins.  I'm pleased with how they came out.

Here's "Sweet as a Cupcake".  The cupcake was inspired by Sugarbelle's.

This is "Soaring Heart".  I did a little brush embroidery on the wings.

Here we have "Hot Lips".

And last, but not least - "Daisy Love".

Each cookie pop is individually bagged and tied with curling ribbon.
