Sailing the Potomac Cookies

Washington, DC sugar cookies with royal icing

These cookies were for a little girl's second birthday.  The mom sent me a photo of a painting.  The painting was beautiful.  It was of her little girl sailing the Potomac River.  That was the theme of the birthday party.

The cookies represent the Washington Monument, the Capitol, the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials.  Of course we have the little sailor girl.  She was so much fun to decorate!
