Well hello! It's been . . . years? . . . since my last post. I'm still here making cookies for special occasions, and hosting cookie decorating parties and classes.
I'm dusting off the old blog to tell you that I've started something new! I'm now offering live, online classes on Cookies as Business.
There are tons of videos and tutorials online and plenty of real-life classes about how to decorate cookies. There aren't a lot of resources on the business side. That's where I come in!
I taught on this subject at Cookie Con 2015. Now I've expanded it into several topics so that we can get into the details. Because
the classes are held online, you can join me from anywhere!
I've had a successful cookie business since 2013. I’ve
learned a lot since starting my business. I’ve changed a lot of things
too. I’m ready to share my years of experience with you. I’m here to
teach and encourage you to get you started and to help your business
grow!

Business 101
covers how to get started in your cookie business with a commercial
kitchen if necessary, what you need to ask your bank and accountant,
policies for your website to get you going on the right foot, advice on
choosing a business name, and ideas on what items and services you can
offer.
Taking and Completing Orders
will teach you my method step-by-step so that you never forget an order
or leave out a detail when it's time to decorate. Everything will be in one spot to look over and refer to at any time. I'll send you the
two forms that I use for order-taking.
