This is a catch up post on cookies I've done recently for baby showers.

Twins!  I was so pleased with how these came out.  The sleeping baby faces.  Love!  The soft colors.  It all seemed to work.

A baby boy shower.  Onesies with bow ties.  Bottles. 

My favorite - horses.  I always enjoy decorating horse cookies.  Notice the dough between the legs?  I added that to these because they were to be shipped.  I thought that the legs were too fragile, so that was my fix.  Someone mentioned on facebook that they look like rocking horses.  With the added dough - they could be!  Maybe next time!

Mini crab cookies for a Lily Pulitzer themed baby shower with Mom-to-be from Annapolis.  Cute combo theme!

And jungle animals with sweet pink bows and eyelashes for a baby girl.

The theme for the birthday was "Vintage Horses".

This has got to be one of my all-time favorite designs.  Simple but oh so cute.

Kentucky Derby Bridal Shower Sugar Cookies with Royal Icing

I had sooooo much fun decorating these! I've never decorated horse cookies or pretty hats. Loved doing them!!

Beautiful ladies' hats.  (They could be Easter bonnets too!)  I made tiny little daisy royal icing transfers a la  Julia Usher.  I really thought these would break when releasing them from the paper or placing them on the cookies.  Not one broke!

Perhaps you can see their 3-D-ness better in this photo.  Each hat is two cookies stacked.

And a few race horses.  Bake at 350 inspired these, though I changed them up a bit.  For some reason, the tails and manes make me happy.
