 Food Network Magazine - December 2015

Well this was exciting!  I was contacted by Food Network Magazine and asked to make cookies that represent Maryland at Christmas time.  The cookies had to be on 4" rounds.  I was to make two different designs, sending 6 of each.

I decided on Santa crabs with two different backgrounds.

Here he is at the beach......

And here he is with part of the Maryland flag behind him.....

They ended up choosing the beach scene to publish.

The feature was entitled "Sugar Cookie USA".  There was one cookie representing each state.  The cookies were amazing!  You can see all of them here.

My five minutes of fame.  :)

It's a lifestyle magazine for women in Frederick, MD.   It covers every topic from fashion to business.


The premier issue was just released - Fall 2015.  I was fortunate to be featured in the "Sweet Eats" segment along with some amazing local bakers.
