You would think that these cookies were for Halloween, wouldn't you?  Nope.  They were made as a gift to someone about to undergo cataract surgery.  The bloodshot look was requested.  :)

The cookies were packed into a canning jar and shipped off. They look pretty funny staring out of the jar!  I love that the sender and the recipient must have quite a sense of humor.

I had to do "research" on the Tiffany website.  What grueling work - looking through page after page of stunning jewelry.

The heart lockets were transfers.

The most difficult thing with this order was the ribbons and bows on the present.  My cratering problems gets me every time.

This is the second time I've made this design.  The first time was a royal icing transfer disaster.  I had to make the transfers twice because all of them snapped.  Lessons were learned last time.  Not a single broken transfer with these.  Yay!

I love the colors, the polka dots, the little roses and the shape of the letters!  It all came together well.

These cookies are not only nice for birthdays,  I think they would be perfect for a wedding - with the monogram of the new couple's last name.
